Thanks Deborah. I have a different computer for the office... This is an old computer (a 2003 Dell) that I didn't have the heart to throw away. It is set up in the spare bedroom that used to be my son's room before he grew up. Chris

I love that idea. I spend so much time behind the computer that I try to take exercise breaks. So do you have two computers or is this in your office?

Wil:
You definitely have to start slowly. My treadmill is old and has a lot of motor noise, so not very practical for a "real" office... but good for the "at home office" when I check personal email and do my blogging before going into the office.

Well, after 2 months of this, I must say my speed has improved so that I'm comfortable at 2.5. Most of the "work" has been playing video games though, not the blogging that I thought it would be. Resizing photos and links are more difficult because I make typos and have to delete more. A few times I've actually tried running at about 3.5 or 4 but it's way to hard to concentrate or enjoy.

Probably the best thing is just comfortable walking, so it becomes natural, which is at about 2.5 while working on the computer right now.

Chris, this looks like a great idea, but I'm one of those folks who has trouble walking and chewing gum at the same time. I'd probably end up in the hospital... :-(
