Video Reviews - TechCrunch  announced that Google revealed it will be adding video to search results. Video reviews from users can be uploaded to Google from Android phones.

To record or upload videos to Google Maps, you’ll have to search for and select a place in Google Maps (this is Android-only for now, as far as we can see), scroll down and tap “add a photo,” tap the “Camera” icon and then hold the shutter to record (or you can upload a short video, too).

I’ve been recommending video for years (Video - The Next Big, Big Marketing Tactic.)  When planning your 2018 marketing budget, it might be a good idea to review your video plans. This could make a different in new customers finding your business.

You’ll need to follow the guidelines for reviews from Google. Obviously you don’t want to “stuff” the reviews with fake ones from your employees.  And you’ll also want to be ready in case you get a bad review from a disgruntled customer or client. Make sure that you have plenty of short (30 second) videos that specifically addresses various products, services, your company philosophy, your specific marketing position, unique benefits, the story behind your tag line, and so on.
